→ For this project at .FABRIC, 800 housing units for students and starters, among many other things, I was responsible for the idea to reuse an existing office building for student housing and parking, came up with the concept and executed it in technical drawings, physical and digital models. I also have been working on the general urban master plan and studied different layouts of the buildings. During the project the idea emerged to build a temporary structure on site that could be used as a climbing hall, cafe and outdoor cinema. It would have been built using only local materials salvaged from the project site, sourced from future demolished buildings, a method I learned at 2012Architects.
