KRFT RUNNER-UP IN DEVENTER!

→ While working at krft I was responsible for the first stage of the ObjectONE competition in Deventer, a housing development competition in the Havenkwartier. We proposed a radical vertical self-building strategy in wood (cross laminated timber) for people relying on social housing to become home owners. I did the conceptual research, developed the horizontal phasing strategy in separate towers and made the diagrams and infographics.

 

Unfortunately we were a bit too ambitious, the jury was not yet ready for a stacked self-built project in wood, so had to award us the second place (for the best scheme!).
